health: good morning beautiful

Hope you all had a beautiful weekend! I am a little late posting my smoothie recipes from last week's Boost Your Energy for Summer post but better late than never! Here are a couple recipes to help get in you in amazing health for summer! Smoothies are a great way to get all the vitamins and nutrients you need to be your most energized self and it is a great way to start each day! See below for some recipes...

{Sometimes I even make it at night and throw it in the fridge and re-blend it in the morning if I know I won't have much time. If it seems like too many ingredients, take some out, this is just what I like to add but customize it to you!}

Brittan's Good Morning Beautiful Smoothie
  • 1/2 Acai smoothie packet
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 cup frozen organic raspberries
  • 2 teaspoons egg whites
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop collagen
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 1/2 scoop of both miracle red & miracle greens (any super green powder is fine)
  • Pinch of Flax Seed Powder
  • 3-4 ice cubes
  • Blend in a blender until smooth and creamy

Blueberry Pear Smoothie (serves 1)
  • 1 large ripe pear, peeled and diced (a Bartlett pear is best)
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of ground ginger
  • Juice of 1/2 a lime
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup filtered water
  • 1 scoop whey protein powder
  • 3-4 ice cubes
  • Blend in a blender until smooth and creamy
