eat: what's cookin good lookin?

Despite being on week 2 of my Rawjuvenate cleanse, I thought I'd share some of the things that I have been making, baking or wanting to try this season. I made the above butternut squash & kale soup last week which was great for my cleanse too. It was so hearty and delicious - I didn't mind eating it for leftovers multiple times! This year I wanted to stray from the traditional holiday cooking and find recipes that have fun twists on them. Here are some of my favorites!

{Brussels sprout salad - this one never gets skipped at the buffet table, the leaves take a while to peel, but well worth it - always a crowd pleaser!} 

{German chocolate pie - I used a mix of dark and milk chocolate, it was amazing and rich!} 

(Almond toffee - adding this recipe to my holiday baking this year}

  2. Yum, that soup looks awesome! I've been craving warm brothy soups lately for sure. I have been drooling over those apps from C&C for so long! I might have to make them for Christmas or NYE get together.
