craft: diy dainty beaded bracelet

DIY dainty bracelet

Over the holiday I thought it would be fun to make bracelets with my sisters so I got all of the supplies at a bead store and Michael's before I left for home. I love jewelry with mixed metals so I got both gold and silver beads and chain. These bracelets were super easy to make and they turned out pretty cute! Here's the how to:

Step 1: Supplies needed - jewelry wire, wire clippers (nail clippers work), round nose pliers, beads, chain, clasps
Step 2: Cut wire - You want to make it much larger then how long you actually want it because you'll need room to loop the ends and attach the chain.

Step 3: Loop the wire - you want to make the loop as small and symmetrical as possible. Before closing the loop hook your chain in the center.

Step 4: Close the loop - once you have linked the chain inside the loop you take the end of the wire and wrap it around the base 3 times to close it off.

Step 5: Bead - self explanatory  You don't want to make the beaded section too long so measure it on your wrist first. I mixed up my beads so that they were in random order. When you are done beading then just repeat step 3 & 4 to close the loop.

Step 6: Secure clasps & voile!
